以前Fake I.D.
“Not for Me to Say”はThe Policeの“Roxanne”のようなギターで始まる明るめの曲です。 この“Rocket to the Promised Land”も大好き。“How can you and I explain / This passion from the sky like rain〜”という歌い出しがすごく耳に残ります。
SCOTT St. CLAIR SHEETS started his musical career in New York City in the popular band, THE BRATS, sharing the bill with others as yet unsigned bands like KISS, BLONDIE, TALKING HEADS, THE RAMONES and THE NEW YORK DOLLS. After a few years of playing in the New York scene, Scott began to look elsewhere to expand his music career and on recommendation from his friend and neighbour RICK DERRINGER he joined the PAT BENATAR BAND.

The first album, "In The Heat Of The Night" was recorded and Pat and company embarked on their first tour of the states of Europe. Popularity for the band was quickly on the rise and they recorded album number two, "Crimes Of Passion", which included Scott's song "Prisoner Of Love". Another tour of the States and Europe followed with sold out shows every night. Album number three, "Precious Time", included the hit song "Fire and Ice" which Scott cowrote and also won a GRAMMY.

After another sold out tour, Scott decided he wanted to start working on his own group. He returned to New York City and formed the short lived PERFECT STRANGER with original PAT BENATAR drummer GLEN HAMILTON and WERNER FRITZING from CACTUS. After a few showcases and lots of label interest the band had some personal differences and disbanded.

Scott returned to Los Angeles, where he had relocated during the BENATAR days, and put together another great band with RICKY PHILLIPS (BABYS, BAD ENGLISH) on bass, PAT TORPEY (MR. BIG) on drums, TIM PIERCE (RICK SPRINGFIELD) on guitar, and FERGY FREDERIKSEN (LE ROUX) on vocals. The band flew to Frankfurt, Germany to record at Hot Line Studios where Scott had secured a special deal after working with TONY CAREY from RICHIE BLACKMORES RAINBOW. The band was ready to sign a major deal when Fergy was offered to sing for the band TOTO, so the other members went their separate ways.

Scott now decided to concentrate on his songwriting and record production. He wrote two songs with CARMINE APPICE (CACTUS, ROD STEWART, JEFF BECK) for his band KING KOBRA and another with Carmine for VANILLA FUDGE's reunion album.

RON CORBETT on the other hand, got his start in Northern California with his band ROLLS ROCK. The band enjoyed regional success with an independent release and toured extensively, opening for acts like VAN HALEN, EDDIE MONEY and SAMMY HAGAR. After seven years Ron got tired of touring the regional circuit and moved to Los Angeles to be closer to the Music Industry. He found that he could make a good living as a session singer. After several years of a lucrative session career, Ron began to miss the excitement of the stage and the creative song writing process, so he formed the band CONTINENTAL CIRCUS with JOSQUIN des PRES on Bass, JIMMY CRESPO (AEROSMITH) on guitar, JERRY GOODMAN (THE FLOCK, MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA) on violin, RON VIKSO on drums and SCOTT GORHAM on Keyboards (both from CHER and RICHARD MARX's band).

It was during this period that Ron and Scott finally met. They were both working on separate projects but realized that they had the same goal in mind and that was to make an album full of just great songs. So when the opportunity arose they both couldn't wait to get started.

For the recording they enlisted the help of some of their friends from the music community like RUDY SARZO (OZZIE OSBOURNE, QUIET RIOT, WHITESNAKE), VINNIE CALIUTTA (STING), PHIL SHENALE (TORI AMOS), FRANK BRIGGS (805, ATLANTIC STAR), DONNIE NOSSOFF (JOHN WAITE, PAT BENATAR) and WAYNE COOK (PLAYER).

Great players! Great Songs! That's what ST. CLAIR is all about!
